Mamaw Staton’s Cornbread dressing
This is my grandma’s famous dressing recipe that we have every Thanksgiving. (We don’t call it stuffing in these parts!) She would add a little of this and a little of that, so we basically had to make a test kitchen to figure out the final recipe.
This recipe got passed down to my mom and now it’s on to my sister and me! Even though my Mamaw isn’t with us anymore, we still have this every year and remember her with it.
Also it’s delicious, so you should bring it to your family table.

2 pans cornbread (prepared)
4 slices white bread
1 bell pepper, diced
